2.26.2011 A Proud Moment....

Today we were eating at Mimi's Cafe in Murfreesboro when Scotty looked up and said, "Daddy, see that airplane?"  Dennis looked up and was amazed to see a Harrier flying overhead.  He told Scotty that was the kind of airplane Daddy used to work on!  We finished our day in Murfreesboro and headed back home.  We decided to drive by the Smyrna airport since it looked like that is where the Harrier was headed.  Lo and behold it was there!  Dennis was doubtful they would let us near it.  However, I decided to ask.  There was no harm in that.  The guys actually told us we could go see it if they were right there with us and we didn't let Scotty climb up on it. We said ok!  Dennis was so happy just to smell the smell of the engines and share "his" plane with Scotty!
