6.2.2011 New Eyes!!

Today was my eye appointment.  I needed new contacts... I had been wearing my glasses for about a month!  I still have terrible vision (20/400)!  But thankfully I can see with help from modern technology!  :)

5.31.2011 This Is Not My House....

Today, Dennis told me to look up a house that was for sale on Woodmont Blvd in Nashville.  This is just one of the rooms in the $3 million home.  I can dream, right?

5.30.2011 Lightning McQueen!

Scotty loves his new Lightning McQueen plate that Wah Wah gave him!  He loves to eat on it! 

5.29.2011 Glenn Miller

This picture was taken (pre-lipstick) on the way to see the Glenn Miller Orchestra at Opryland Hotel.  I went by myself but was joined at the venue by Tracey, mom, GR, and several of mom's friends.  The band was wonderful, the dancing was fun, and the night was great!

Scotty's USA cap had been lost for about 2 months!  And guess what!  Today, he found it in the back of one of his drawers!  Go Scotty Go! 

5.27.2011 Wanna Go Down That Hill...

On the way to Mrs. Tammy's house, we pass this spot.  It leads down to a creek.  Scotty always says he wants to go down that hill and get in the water!  Too funny!

Every day we pass this train track on the way to Mrs. Tammy's house.  Every day Scotty tells me "I wanna see a choo choo"... and every day we both say "nope, no choo choo today"...

5.25.2011 Date Night with the Kiddos....

Tonight was a special night!  Dennis went to see Tommy Emmannuel in concert with Uncle Jerry and the kids and I had a date night!  It was so much fun!  We rented Gnomeo and Juliet and made brownies!  What fun!

5.23.2011 Pirates, Ahoy!

Tonight Dennis and I had a date night!  We had a Groupon (I love Groupon) for movie tickets!  We first went to eat at the local Japanese restaurant... it was so yummy!  After filling our tummies, we went to Murfreesboro and saw Pirates of the Caribbean 4... it was so good!  Jack Sparrow is always entertaining!  This was a temporary tattoo we got for seeing the movie...

5.22.2011 A Day of Fun and Family

Today we went to Huntingdon to celebrate Uncle Ray's birthday.  We always have such a good time!  There was food, gun shooting, and go cart riding... what more could you ask for at a fun family gathering?!

Today I went to the Verizon store to look at phones.  And look what happened!  I bought the new 4G Droid Charge!  Oops!  :)
