4.12.2011 Red Robin and Great Friends

At least once a month, the old 5/3 Gang tries to get together to eat.  Tonight's location was Red Robin!  We always have so much fun together and we are going to miss Alena when she moves to Texas next month!!

Mrs. Tammy's yard is adorned with such lovely flowers!  The Iris' were absolutely stunning this morning!

Today we went out to eat at Chuy's... I love that place!  For desert, we couldn't resist the Tres Leches cake... it was my first time having it.... Scotty P loved it too!!

4.8.2011 Good Friends, Good Food

Tonight Miss Katie and I met the girls (Kim and Gina) at Cheddar's for a great night of food and laughter!  I love these ladies so much and we always have a great time....

4.7.2011 Man, I Feel Like a Woman ...

Today I wore my cute gray shoes for the first time!  They had a much higher heel than I am used to wearing but they were so frilly and feminine!  I love them! 

4.6.2011 Uh Oh....

Guess who got locked in the Tahoe today?  If you guessed Scotty and Katie P, you are correct!  Luckily they were in Mrs. Tammy's driveway and I was able to bring a spare set of keys immediately to unlock the door.  Adventures in having kids....

4.5.2011 Here Comes the Sun....

After a big storm the day before, it was nice to see the sun shining nice and bright this morning.  This is on the way to Mrs. Tammy's house.  After this I had to drive downtown for a class. 

4.4.2011 Eat More Chicken....

Whenever I am running late, this is my go-to breakfast stop!  I love the Chicken Mini's (and a large lemonade)!



4.3.2011 A Picnic in the Park!

Today we went to the park in Kingston Springs with Wah Wah (Grandmama) and Grandaddy GR.  The weather was perfect.  Here is me and Scotty (this is right before he threw his deviled egg on the ground!).  He only ate for a minute before he wanted to play on the "big slide".  Of course, how could we resist.

Sweet Katie P also had fun at the park.  She got held by Wah Wah a lot!  What a pretty girl!

4.2.2011 A Cookout and a Fire!

Today the Craddocks came over for a cookout... they are just like family and I love them so much!  Jace got a new power wheels for being potty trained.  He brought it to share with Scotty P!  They had so much fun!



We bought a fire pit tonight (we had been wanting one forever).  It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.  Look how sweet Jace and Scotty are!



4.1.2011 Tiptoe Through....

Today was so pretty!  Our tulips are in full bloom.  Tulips (especially pink ones) are my favorite flower ever and let me know warmer weather is here! 

3.31.2011 Retail Therapy

Mom and I shopped till we dropped today! We started at 9am and didn't end until the evening.  We had a great day and shared stories and laughter.  It sure is nice to be "besties" with your mom! 

3.30.2011 I Left My Heart....

Tonight Dennis, mom, GR and I went to see Tony Bennett!  What a fun night!  He sounded just like he was in his prime (the man is 84 years young).  Kayleigh watched the kiddos tonight and Dennis and I were able to grab a bite at Cheddar's before the show...

3.29.2011 Choo Choo Train!!

We were on the way home from Mrs. Tammy's house when I saw a train up ahead.  It had stopped and I knew Scotty P just had to see it as close as we could get.  This photo was taken behind a church... we got pretty close!

Our neighbor has a lilac bush and I look forward to smelling it every spring.  It reminds me of being a young child.  Thank you Lord for my sense of smell and vision so I can enjoy these little moments!
