1.26.2011 Watching out the Window....

1.25.2011 A Treat for Jenny!

Does this photo really need a caption?  I didn't have Starbucks the whole time I was pregnant... here is my first cup since Katie has been born.  It was a White Chocolate with Caramel and was so delicious! 

1.24.2011 Hickory Falls is the Place to Be!

Today was cold and dreary but Katie and I still were able to enjoy some family time with my mom and brother Karl.  They came to Smyrna to have lunch with us at Hickory Falls, one of our favorite places to eat.  We stayed and visited for quite a while before we left.  Katie and I then did a little shopping at Kohls! 

1.23.2011 A Taste of Heaven in a Cup!

Today we ventured out as a family of four and went to the 'Boro.  When the kids were asleep in the car, we "accidentally" stopped at the new Sweet CeCe's.  It was my first time.  Let me just say, if you have never been... go now.  It was so good and I got all kinds of stuff in my cup... M&M's, marshmallows, hot fudge, strawberries.  Hmmmm... now I am wanting to go back right away!   

1.22.11 Hold Me Now...

Today was a laid back Saturday at the Parish house.  Scotty loves his sister so much and wanted to hold her so bad!  Here he is finally getting to hold her all by himself and he is so excited!  He is also very excited that he put her pacifier in her mouth all by himself.  Right after this he decided he was done holding Katie and almost dropped her out of his lap!  Good thing we were right there!  He does love her so!

Today I made this flower and frame for Miss Katie's bedroom!  So pretty! 

1.20.2011 Tangled!

Today was such a great day!  My mom came over and we took Katie to see her first movie at the theater!  Tangled!  It was one of my favorite Disney movies ever!  After eating at Toots and seeing the movie, mom had to go home because it started to snow again!  What a winter! 

1.19.2011 Happy National Popcorn Day!

Today is National Popcorn Day!  So in honor of the holiday, I had to have some!  Right?  :)

1.18.2011 Chillin'

This photo just about sums up my day!  I stayed in my pajamas all day long!  I have no idea what is on tv, I was watching the news when I took the photo!  Too funny!

1.17.2011 Date Day!

Dennis and I were both off work today so we decided to make a date day.  We dropped Scotty and Katie off with Mrs. Tammy in the morning and had breakfast at McDonald's.  We then went to the Chiropracter and Hobby Lobby.  After spending way too much time in Hobby Lobby, we had to rush and get something to eat before our movie started.  We ended up getting Captain D's before going to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader.  It was a GREAT movie (I love the Narnia series).  After the movie we went to Toys R Us and then capped off a great day with BOGO Chocolate Covered Strawberry Shakes from Steak and Shake.  We then went to get our precious babies!  Thanks for the date day sweetie!! 



1.16.2011 The Future's So Bright....

Today was a lazy Sunday.  We didn't get out today and enjoyed some family time together.  Dennis had gone to see Tron in 3D the night before and brought home his glasses.  Scotty thought they were so much fun to play with! 

1.15.2011 A Day Out!

Believe it or not, this photo album prompted our first outing as a family of four.  I have made it a goal to organize our photos and Kohl's had their photo albums half off.  So we made a day of going to Kohl's!  First we went to eat at Hickory Falls.  We had a great time and everyone acted great!  Then, we went to Kohl's to get the photo albums.  We ended up spending quite some time in there.  We were going to go to Target as well but decided to go home and take naps!  We saved Target for another day! 

1.14.2011 Brotherly Love

Today Grandmama came to visit.  Here she is holding Miss Katie when Scotty P wanted to give Katie a kiss.  Scotty is very sweet with Katie and is always checking on her and bringing her a blanket or her pacifier. He is such a good brother!

1.13.2011 A Red Bird in A Pear Tree...

It continued to snow today and this pretty little bird decided to hang out in our Bradford Pear tree.  I thought it was a perfect photo op! 

1.12.2011 Oh Have You Seen the Muffin Man...?

Today I felt like baking!  It was so cold outside and I had some bananas that were going to go bad if I didn't use them.  So, I found a great recipe online for banana nut muffins and made them up (thanks Kayleigh for the egg).  They were supposed to be for breakfast the next morning, but they were so warm and smelled so good, we just couldn't resist! 

1.11.2011. There's No Business Like Snow Business

It snowed a nice, big snow in Tennessee this year!  This was the second day of the snow and it wasn't quite as fluffy and pretty as the first day.  However, I wanted to build a snowman right outside of Scotty's window so he could look out and see it!  I am no Michelangelo for sure, but I had a great time being outside in the cold... I felt like a kid!  The snowman is without a mouth and eyes, I couldn't find anything to use for them.  However, he does have a carrot nose, stick arms, and dead pine tree hair.  Enjoy, my sweet Scotty!
